Xmas gathering at PAPA JOHNS!!

Merry xMas everyone~

fyi, russians do not celebrate xmas at a large scale. new year seemed like a more important event and if i am not mistaken, they celebrate xmas on another date.. which is the 7th of January. this two reason explains why we do not hv holidays on xmas and y we are given a week holiday from the 1st of January-10th of January instead. =)

however, to not neglect the spirit of xmas.. we decided to hv our own lil celebration ourselves. due to the fact that everyone hv their own commitment to other people aswell, not all of the 10a members were present at this gathering though.. (..sigh)

after eating, we walked into 'happy faces'.. a shop that resembles 'living cabin' or some sort.. u can find nice bday presents here(for gurls of coz).. haha! can u guys spot all of us in dis mirror?

so, it was our last day for physics..
we had a seminar on physical process in biological membrane.. u know laa.. membrane structure, phospholipid bilayer, nernst-plank equation and all those stuffs..

the class was nice as usual. but, as it is the evening, everyone was rather tired and sleepy. some were paying attention and some just listened blankly. haha.. anyways, after the break alla came in with a small gift bag.

Laboratory Work No 3: ASSESSMENT OF SHARPNESS OF HEARING AT THRESHOLD OF HEARING

had oni 4 audiometers to work with 5 grups.. me n ally had to do the control 1st as the others finishes the labwork...

the audiometer seemed rather antique(OLD!). If u can see in the picture above, it looks like a headset... but we were listening to frequencies, not AKOn or EmineM or whateva... muahaha!

after the tiring week of organizing the orientation finale, doing the bones n joints control for anatomy, we decided to have our own sweet little retreat.

it was a friday. decided to go 'MORE SUSHI', a japanese restaurant not far from our hostel.

it could have been a very busy day.. with biology class, anatomy class and biology lecture.

hows our RUSSIAN lecturers? how do they look?

1st ever anatomy class...

these were all taken during the 1st week of the new semester. i believed we started at 14th September 09.. since anatomy is such a fresh subject, everyone seemed excited at that time.. (less-er now i guess).. haha..





at this tyme, we were still not introduced to PROF. KULLIKOV. our dearest lecturer.. my gosh!! good luck everyone. we do need it at times. with a lil hardwork and perseverance, we shall reign together!!!

as we arrived..

i'll be updating little by little k people.. we start with the time when we all juz arrived.. late August.. we had to go register, pay the visa fine at kaluzhkaya, go to mos lanka to settle all the aggreements and stuffs..

we all had to pay fine of the amount 2000rub. plus comission of 60rub. the process of handling our paperworks seemed endless.. at this point, everyone seemed frustrated.. look at these faces..
